The primary service offered by BWA Executive Search is a thorough and effective search process resulting in a successful hire and transition.

As an executive search and recruitment consulting firm that targets companies in the midst of change, one of the key strengths of BWA is the ability to offer flexible and customized solutions to your recruitment and hiring needs with fees that are competitively priced. 

Through a highly consultative approach, the consultant partners with the client to determine search criteria and assess needs, then conducts a comprehensive process to search for, identify, and secure the right person for the job, presenting an exceptional slate of vetted candidates.  As needed, the consultant provides guidance during the interview process and helps to negotiate the offer and acceptance. 

Executive search services are provided on a fee basis.  Two fee options are offered, both involving an element of pay-for-performance.  The standard "retained search" option involves payment of the fee in up to four installments with the final installment paid upon completion.  The second option "secured search" is used as a bridge to help new clients become comfortable with either the services of the firm or the retained search model.  A flat amount representing one-fourth or less of the fee is paid as an initial retainer, with the remainder of the fee paid upon completion.  A complete description of fees and terms is available upon request.

Special discounted rates are available for multiple searches within the same year.

The consultant works on a particular project or for a specified period of time to recruit for an individual job or group of jobs. 

Fees are charged at an hourly or weekly rate.


In this capacity, the consultant serves as a coach and/or advisor to the internal recruitment process and provides guidance on how to accomplish recruitment goals.  May involve direct support for specific aspects of the process such as writing job descriptions, launching a search, reviewing resumes, pre-screening candidates or developing an offer package.

Throughout the recruitment process, opportunities will be sought to promote the company's employer brand through the use of social media, networking and, occasionally, job boards.  All recruitment activities and communications are conducted with the goal of maximizing the company's reputation in the marketplace and creating positive exposure.  Care is given to creating a favorable candidate experience, even for those not selected.  

The search process can at times be a source of feedback to the company on its reputation in the marketplace and desirability as an employer.
